disana nappy pants are made of soft merino wool. The pants have a high waist, which helps to prevent leaks and keeps the baby's stomach comfortably warm.
Use nappy pants with disana tie on nappy, muslins or with any other absorbent nappy. The pants don't need to be washed after each use, if it gets damp, then just hang it out to dry. Thanks to the natural self-cleaning function of the wool fibres, the pants are left hygienically clean.
To prevent leakage, the trousers must be treated with lanolin before use.
Material: 100% organic merino wool.
Care: Wash by hand or with a gentle wool wash program at temperatures up to 30°C. Use a wool detergent for washing. Do not use a centrifuge, dry flat, avoid direct heat. If the pants start to leak, they should be relanolised (after about every fourth wash).
Lanolin treatment with disana lanolin care product - Add 2 tablespoons of disana lanolin care product to 1 liter of lukewarm water. The water must not be warmer than 30°C. Place the washed diapers in the lanolin mixture, gently squeezing them into the water and then let it soak in the mixture for at least 15 minutes. After soaking squeeze the pants dry. Dry in a warm place, but not in direct sunlight or on a radiator. The lanolin treatment should be repeated about every 4 washes, to keep the pants waterproof.
Lanolin treatment with 100% lanolin - The recipe is 1 teaspoon of lanolin and 1 teaspoon of soap flakes disolved in 1 liter of water (not warmer than 30°C). The first lanolizing treatment should be with stiffer solution: increase the amount of lanolin and soap, and/or reduce the volume of the liquid, depending on how well the pants fit in the container. Leave the pants in lanolin for 1-2 hours and then rinse under running water, squeeze out the excess water, do not twist. Spread the pants on the bath towel, then roll the bath towel together and step on it to squeeze out the excess water. Place on a flat surface to dry.
Repeate the treatment every 4-6 weeks.
Recommendation! All pants that are different color should be lanolized in a separate jar or other container, because the fabrics can give color. Thats why be sure not to put light and dark colors together.
