HEVEA pacifiers are made of 100% natural rubber and painted with FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved natural color pigments. The pacifier is biodegradable and does not contain dangerous chemicals - PVC, BPA and phthalates.
The pacifier is gentle on the baby's sensitive skin and tender on the gums and teeth. Thanks to the one piece design, there are no cracks where bacteria could accumulate. The butterfly shaped pacifier leaves enough space for the child's nose and chin, and the ventilation openings help to prevent skin irritation.
When not in use, the pacifier should be kept in a clean and dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat. It should be stored in a closed, clean and dry container.
If the surface of the soother starts to peel or crack, it is a sign of too long use or incorrect cleaning. It is recommended to replace the pacifier with a new one every two months.
Why does the pacifier change color over time?
No preservatives have been used in the production of HEVEA products and the color of natural rubber changes over time.
How to take care of a pacifier?
Before first use, clean and sterilize the pacifier thoroughly. HEVEA pacifiers are lubricated with a thin layer of vegetable oil so that they do not dry or change color in the package. The oil comes off if the pacifier is cleaned in boiling water before the first use. HEVEA pacifiers are cleaned in a special machine or by briefly dipping the pacifier in boiling water. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
